Shannon has been in the beauty industry for almost 10 years. With a background in business and a gravitation towards all things beauty, opening Shade Beauty Co was a long-time dream.

Shannon’s goal is to create a space for beauty artists to thrive and excel in their career while offering superior customer service and high quality results to our clients! Creating a space for women to feel empowered, confident, and comfortable has always been a passion of hers.

When Shannon isn’t working, she is spending time with her husband (the best husband in the entire world) and their pitbull and black cat. Doing anything outdoors; gardening, hiking,

fun facts about Shannon:

I started dance class at 3 years old and continued for 15 years.

I have been to Florida over 20 times and almost moved there on several occasions.

If I could eat only one type of food the rest of my life, it would be cheese.. all of the cheese.

STUDIO MANAGER & SALON COORDINATOR

After graduating from West Virginia University, Willow was drawn to the fast-paced and ever-evolving world of business management in the medical spa industry. Her work in this field quickly opened her eyes to the beauty industry and discovered a new passion for helping business owners succeed.

Despite dabbling in corporate sales, Willow knew her heart lies in the small business world. She found that there was nothing more fulfilling than working alongside owners to help them grow their businesses and meet their highest potential.

When she isn’t working, she is either baking, in the outdoors with her dog, traveling, or hanging out with her siblings. Speaking of siblings, Willow is 1 of 5 children and they’re all named botanically! Another fun fact is she has set a goal for herself in 2020, that she will go to at least 1 new country a year for the rest of her life.

BODY WAX SPECIALIST

Kaitlyn got into the beauty industry when she realized that life is too short to not be doing something you are passionate about! She fell in love with waxing because of its immediate results and the ability to build relationships with clients. It is important to Kaitlyn to make every client feel beautiful, make their experience fun vs. intimidating, and simplify their daily regimen.

When Kaitlyn isn’t in the wax room, she is spending time with family, her 3 cats + nephew. She loves cooking and traveling.

ESTHETICIAN

Emily has been in the industry for over 3 years. Her passion for connecting with others while enhancing their inner & outer beauty is what made Emily fall in love with the beauty industry. Her favorite service to offer is anything brows: transforming someone’s natural shape into a look they never knew they could have.

I did gymnastics for 5 years!

I have an orange tabby cat, named Dewey.

ESTHETICIAN

Mak has been in the industry for over 3 years! She specializes in brow laminations, facials, and lash lifts & tints. Mak got into the beauty industry to help people feel like the best version of themselves. Seeing her clients reaction at the end of each appointment is the most satisfying part of her job!

In Mak's free time, she loves watching documentaries, cooking for loved ones, and spending time with her boyfriend and cat.

fun facts about Mak:

She plays dungeons and dragons on a weekly basis.

Mak collects shark teeth.

Her favorite music is anything that involves head banging.

ESTHETICIAN

Meghan has been licensed for over 3 years. She got into the industry because of how much it had to offer, and how wide the range of services could be! Meghan’s favorite service to provide is lash lifts + tints. They are aninstant pick me up and make people feel so good about their natural lashes. Feeling good in your own skin is so important, so providing these services that give the best results is where Meghan truly shines.

When Meghan isn’t performing services, she is going on walks, running errands, and hanging out at home with her dog, Mimosa.

I grew up in york pennsylvania, and my whole family & best friend still lives there so I frequently get to road trip across the state to visit everyone!

Before getting into the esthetics industry I wanted to be an early childhood education teacher forever! i taught preschool for 3 years while I was in high school and I loved doing that and still miss it!
